Offensively, the Dragons were led by their freshmen outside hitters, as Annie Palmquist and Morgan Gradishar combined for 17 kills.

Junior Anna Olson led the Dragon setters with 16 assists, followed by freshman Sam Sullivan with 10 assists.

The Dragons bounced back from their tough loss to defeat the Peacocks of Upper Iowa to close out the 2011 regular season.

Olson led the team offensively, recording 40 assists, seven kills and five digs.

Junior middle blocker Meredith Egeland also contributed in a big way with 11 kills and five block assists.

Other key contributors for the Dragons were junior outside hitter Heidi Lensing with nine kills and 12 digs, Gradishar with nine kills and eight digs, and Ness with 24 digs.
